Complete alien registration at a government office in your residence area.

Non-Japanese nationals who stay in Japan for 90 days or longer are required by law to complete alien registration at municipal offices. In Himeji, there are nine such offices: Shimin-ka (Citizen's Section) of City Hall, regional City offices, City Hall's Shikama branch, Hirohata branch, Aboshi branch and Shirahama branch. Each office serves the respective area. Ask the Citizen's Section which office covers your area of residence. Your Alien Registration Card should be returned to Immigration Bureau officials at the port of departure when you leave Japan for good.
